Development path

1. Traditional Export Trade

In 2004, Sunda was founded in Guangzhou with a focus on African markets and began expanding overseas.

2. Deep International Trade

In 2009, Sunda Côte d’Ivoire was established.

In 2010, Sunda Kenya was established.

3. Integration of Industry and Trade

In 2015, the washing powder factory and hardware factory in Ghana were put into operation.

In 2016-2017, subsidiaries were established in Uganda and Senegal. Ceramic factories in Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania, a washing powder factory in Tanzania, and a hardware factory in Côte d’Ivoire were put into operation.

In 2018, diaper factories in Ghana and Tanzania began operation; subsidiaries were established in Burkina Faso, Zambia and Cameroon; and the second phase of the Kenya ceramic factory began operation.

In 2019, the ceramic factory in Senegal and diaper factory in Kenya began operation, and a subsidiary was established in Guinea.

In 2020, the diaper factory in Senegal and sanitary pad factory in Tanzania began operation.

In 2021, ceramic, diaper, sanitary pad and hardware capacity expanded across Zambia, Kenya, Guinea, Senegal, Ghana and Tanzania.

In 2022, new diaper and ceramic capacity began operation across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Guinea and Benin, while existing plants expanded across several African markets.

In 2023, construction began on the Côte d’Ivoire ceramic factory and Tanzania glass factory, while ceramic, sanitary ware, hygiene and hardware capacity continued to expand.
